Biography

Andy Van Domelen is an M.Sc. student in the Department of Biochemistry & Medical Genetics at the University of Manitoba. Andy graduated with a B.Sc. in Microbiology at Brigham Young University in 2022. His M.Sc. project aims to elucidate the genetics underlying age-related hearing loss and dementia. He will also develop a predictive model for dementia that takes into account these genetic findings.
